MANY STANDARDS of Compatability, Operation, Connectivity, and System Compliance have been set forth in the last 30 years- Both by ATARI, and by major commercial manufacturers of third party hardware and software. These days, many fine products are being developed, produced, and sold internationally for the ATARI from numerous countries. UNFORTUNATELY, many products are also being designed/produced/sold that IGNORE preexisting standards, and make no effort at all to comply with or respect them.
